Hey, I'm breakerfall, one of the admins over at joe.to. I was just interested as to why you felt the need to switch. I didn't receive any kind of information that you were leaving or that you had a problem with the way we did anything. In fact, it was another normal user who linked us in the website / irc forum section making us aware you were switching boards.

Any particular reason you left j2?

Gimme a shout and lemme know.

Steven.

Actually, yes, there were a couple of reasons.

1. About a year ago our guild leader quit the game, and disappeared from the forums. Unfortunately our leader was also our moderator-of-moderators for our forum at joe.to. So we couldn't add/subtract mods or anything. This remained unresolved despite several pm's to the global moderator's group from myself (fishy).

2. Several weeks ago 2 things happened.
a. Our forum was moved to clans.joe.to. This in and of itself isn't a huge deal, but we had no warning, no system generated post, and no pm to our remaining moderators to let them know.

b. Our forum may as well have been deleted. It was moved to a "clan dumping grounds". our entire moderator group was deleted, and my pm's went unanswered yet again. Except for one pm from a mod who said he wasn't working with joe.to anymore.

Now having gone back and looked since i've seen your post *poof* our forum is restored and the permissions are reset. This doesn't change the past poor service we have recieved, and while i understand you are a free hosting site, and are constrained by that as to how much time you can devote to it, we should still as consumer expect a certain level of courtesy, service and product.

The obvious solution was to create a new forum that we were in control of, and since I am the current guild leader, I took it upon myself to create a new forum that could be controlled more directly by us.

In conclusion, thank you for taking the time to post, I do appreciate the fact that you recognized the problem and have taken the time to solicite our feedback.

Cheers,
Fishy
