My Black Mage isn't moving. Recently, we've had a good showing of Black Mages in the shell. Enough to get the jobs done that we needed done. However, as Aydann mentioned last night, "Why does Despot always pop when we have only one Black Mage?". Its just luck or circumstance that people go afk or to bed or whatever, but the thought is still there. 

I want Black Mage at End Game. 1) Because I want options for myself and for event planners. 2) It's level 66 and I'm a completionist. To have it come so far and not finish grates on my very soul.

I might be able to solo, but I can't solo the only spot I know of for my level. I've died three times there without a single successful kill. I havent played BLM in a year and I have never tried to solo with it since level 9.  I'm simply not that good or practiced. Maybe in time, but not now.

Most everyjob has had its time of "I can't get a party". Even when DD were a dime a dozen and I was lolDRK, I have never spent as much time LFP than I can and have on BLM. Everybody wants BLMs to blow up Gods, but no one wants to help them get there.

Campaign bores the shit out of me on BLM. Seriously. And it turns my stomach when I think that this is the most feasible way for me to reach at least Mana Burn Party levels (Supposedly 70). I max out my points with buffs, but simply cant do enough damage with a scythe or spells/MP to max out my points per battle.

So, I'm looking for ideas and/or willing victims. My only remaining idea is to find a group of people who want to slow merit with a gimped healer.  I'm not even sure a level 66 BLM can main heal with out the precious spells everyone desires now. That's why I say slow merits. Either me resting for MP, or taking another valulable slot for a refresh. Spamming Cure III and not much else.

I'm seriously at a loss as to what to do with this job. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome, even if it's suck it up and campaign, lazy ass.  That may be my only option, but I'm hoping maybe I just over looked something that someone else might have an idea on.  Otherwise, the current plan is to try Duoing with Gaf when he come in level.
