For reasons I can't explain, perhaps Karma, it has been exceedingly more difficult in getting WHM parties now that I am a free agent. When I was in a static, I got blind tells all the time. Now that I am free, I get hours of LFP. ((No this is not a complaint ::points to Dark Knight 66:: I know the pains of DD and LFP, I'm just stating)) I'll see what I can do to get it over 65 soon.

Truth is for most of the Zilart missions i can pretty easily two box the two, and don't mind doing so as many times as necessary.

ZM4 being our first big deal can easily be done with any balanced group of six. Recommend a blink tank, but as long as there are two people that can sleep if necessary, you're in good shape.

Incidently before we begin working back through the Zilart missions, Nanner's going to go through the Qu'bia Arena fight against the Archlich and the shadowlord fight. We're most likely going to pursue them on Monday and Tuesday of next week, sometime around 6:30pm eastern.

If anyone around levels 50+(archlich) and/or 60+ for Shadowlord fight are interested in coming along and getting rank 6 so that you can participate in the ZM's indicate that as well.

Sky access is worth it. It's a place to get an easy 6k an hour now that everyone is leveling in ToAH zones. The Zilart missions themselves are a great storyline, and really bring the central story of FFXI into focus IMO.

These fights/missions/etc are open to anyone who is of the appropriate level to complete them. Let's get out there, enjoy some story and have some fun!
Clearing Tonberry hate is crucial, yeah it costs three gold beastcoins, but i watched a 75 sam get oneshotted for ~2500 damage the last time we did this bcnm.

Note, you only have to pay the 3 gold beastcoins once, after that, you talk to an NPC tonberry in the Temple of Uggalepih and pay a fee in gil, depending on how high your hate is. If you clear it every time you go to the Temple, it shouldn't be very much. The big expense is the initial one.

sorry, i meant completing the intial quest. after that you have to pay a certain amount of gil appropriate to the number of tonberrys you've slaughtered. Can anyone beat my initial cost of 2500gil (costs me about 200 now when i need it cleared)

My schedule is.... crazy right now. Honestly, weekdays are pretty much out. It's a struggle just for me to get on for Dynamis on Wednesdays. That said, I am free all weekend, except whichever night Genbu is static'ing! Weekends during the day are the best times for me.

This shouldn't be too much trouble keir, the ZM can be done in a long afternoon/eavning. Maybe we take a saturday afternoon and work through these. by a week from this saturday, nanner should have rank 6 and be able to participate. Since two people in our static need this access, i think we'd be able to take an afternoon of our regular leveling to make this happen. Do saturdays work for you and marathon and anyone else who wants to get through these?

I would also prefer to do these on one looong Saturday afternoon/evening. I'm not a huge fan of doing time-intensive activities/missions during the week because they inevitably start late and/or run longer than planned, leaving me very sleepy at work the next day :D

That said, how does Saturday, August 5th sound, starting as early as is feasible?

w00t! I'm in and Ceriss is too. THF 65/ RNG 65/ DRG 64 for me, RDM65 for Ceriss.

Ceriss and I are pretty much booked during the week between Dynamis and other stuff (and even, gasp, real life). Weekends are our best time.

This coming weekend is cool, the next is right out (4-6 Aug -- traveling to the ancestral homeland to spend time with soon-to-be grandparents), 12 August is sketchy but doable Saturday. The only other booked weekend on the horizon would be in September late.

Mind you if you can't accomodate us, that's cool. I'll probably wind up posting here looking for help in a couple of weeks. ^^;;

Mrree and Ceriss, I am willing to do the missions with you some weekend that works better. Between the three of us, we have half a party, and shouldn't have too much trouble picking up others :) Besides, Quetre already said, "I'll gladly assist ZM4-umpteen as many times as needed." So that leaves 2 spots to fill.

you know, i'm not against doing them tomorrow, it would mean missing out on a good chunk of our xp this weekend, and we'd have to get started early on saturday to do mission 5-1 and 5-2 unless we want to try to cram those in tonight.

I just want to make sure my whole static is alright with missing out on xp this weekend. If we don't do it this weekend it sounds like the weekend of the 12+13 is the way to go. Either way works for me.

So, by my count, we need two lanterns before Saturday. I am avaliable evenings this week except for Wednesday and Friday. Please let me know if you're available to farm for two lanterns this week, and we'll get it scheduled. The ZM 4 battlefield cannot be entered without 4 lanterns.

Sure thing, Moraine! Just make sure you get the prerequisites done before noon eastern saturday. We have lanterns and a paintbrush for ZM4...just make sure to do the Everybody's Grudge quest.
